To emulate the voyage of The Pavilia Bay, the website was designed on a serene blue canvas, capturing the essence of a broadening horizon. Navigation wheels spin in a clockwise motion, resembling life savers and enhancing the nautical theme, creating interest and encouraging exploration.
The website features horizontal lines that load from the sides as users scroll down, evoking a sense of continuous discovery and completion of a journey. As users advance through the site, information flows into place, and spinning lifesaver wheels provide navigation within each section. Scrollable panoramic photos depicting the scenic surroundings convey a sense of timelessness.
The design process began with a study of the property's identity and design concept. Wireframes were created to ensure a holistic integration of user experience and user interface. A comprehensive content management system (CMS) was also developed, allowing the client to easily update content if changes were required.
The website was given a fully responsive design, ensuring optimal performance across multiple screen sizes, tablets, and devices. Its parallax design allows content to flow into space as users explore the site, while the spinning wheel navigation buttons enhance the overall user experience.
The project started in September 2016 and was completed in December 2016 in Hong Kong. The copyrights for the design belong to INDICUBE Ltd., 2017. The website was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Website and Web Design category in 2018, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements.
